Although we were super-sad to see Lauren and AJ leave Strictly over the weekend, Claudia’s sequinned frock and Tess’s jumpsuit (almost) made up for it.

I was pleased to see that Claudia’s metallic dress was from the High Street and a bargain at £89.99 in Zara – perfect for any last minute festive parties (or even for doing your Asda shopping if you like to sparkle in the frozen aisle like I do!) Personally, I usually prefer Claudia’s wardrobe choices but as a lover of a jumpsuit I also approved of Tess this week too! Her feather-trimmed jumpsuit was a pricier £495 from Saloni via Net-a-Porter, but is currently in the sale at £248.

Excellent news for any lovers of this look is that there are several excellent choices of jumpsuits out there. My personal favourite is this strapless, notched neckline from Miss Guided at £28. It’s actually navy rather than black which with metallic or bright accessories (I’m thinking orange) would look marvellous!
